Bryllup Sjømannskirken Barcelona – Norwegian Wedding in Barcelona. Documentary Barcelona Wedding Photography.
Today I will tell you about a gorgeous Bryllup Sjømannskirken Barcelona.
Just to begin, “bryllup”, from what I found out (thank you Google translator;), means “wedding” in Norwegian. “Bryllup”, what a cool word:)
“Sjømannskirken” it’s Norwegian church. Ok, so I’ve explained the difficult words:) Let’s go to the point.
Christine & Thore were looking for their Barcelona Wedding Photographer for quite some time. They were looking for somebody who will photograph their Bryllup in Barcelona with the documentary style. Luckily they have found me and I couldn’t be more happy with getting a chance to be a part of their BIG DAY. I absolutely love to photograph Norwegian Weddings in Barcelona
Prior the date of the wedding, we have exchanged many emails. I wanted to be sure, that we planned every single detail about the wedding portrait photo shoot, ceremony, and reception photo coverage.
Christine & Thore got married in a beautiful church Nostra Sra. del Rosario PP. Dominicos – Sjømannskirken. It is the church which Norwegian couples using usually for their destination weddings in Barcelona Spain. During the ceremony, we had a chance to listen to guests performing on trumpet, keyboard, and singing. The ceremony was beautiful. Me and Sebastian really enjoyed having an opportunity to be there with our cameras and photograph such an important day in the life of Christine & Thore.
After the ceremony, we haven´t got much time before we had to show up in a reception venue. Luckily the church is located nearby the beautiful Ciutadella Park, which was a perfect location for the newlywed’s portrait photo shoot. “The love was in the air”, Christine & Thore were very natural and the session was pure fun.
The last step for the day was in Hotel Pulitzer. It is an elegant Hotel in the heart of Barcelona, right by the Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. The perfect place to celebrate a city wedding with your family and friends. Like the rest of the day the reception was stunning.
Every time I photograph Norwegian Wedding in Barcelona, I look forward to the part with traditional speeches of family and friends. From the perspective of the documentary wedding photographer, who always looks for true emotions and moments, this part is a photographic paradise. All the speeches were both emotional and funny, causing alternately tears of joy and gales of laughter. I couldn´t stop shooting:) Effects you can see below.
Another fantastic Barcelona Bryllup. Thank you, Christine & Thore for trust and opportunity to share this day with you.
Me and Sebastian, we wish you many more happy years together.
